1951 |
Subsequent to the discovery of large gas fields in Northen Italy, Antonio Ventola establishes SAMIA, which starts its operation importing from U.S.A. gas burners and other combustion equipment, initially for domestic use, later for industrial applications and finally for petrolchemical, chemical, iron and ceramic industry. |
||
| 1964 | SAMIA establishes its fully owned manufacturing factory in Lesmo (Milan) for its own production line. | ||
| 1966 | SAMIA installs a Test Facility, with furnaces and equipment used for testing and improving SAMIA products (Flares and Burners). | ||
| 1973 | SAMIA enters the French market with its fully owned office: SAMIA FRANCE. | ||
| 1974 | SAMIA estabilishes in England SAMIA U.K. | ||
| 1978 | SAMIA enters the Swiss market with INTERSAMIA. | ||
| 1980 | SAMIA decides to change its operation policy turning into design, engineering, R&D.The production is reduced to special parts and subcontracted for the rest of the units. | ||
| 1981 | SAMIA starts a a Collaboration Agreement with the Japanese Company NFK (Nippon Furnace Kogyo Kaisha, Ltd) trasferring the flares Know How for the local market. | ||
| 1987 | SAMIA signs a Collaboration Agreement with NFK for the transfer of new innovative technologies applied to petrolchemical burners (LoNOx burners), decreasing considerably NOX emissions (nitrogen oxide) | ||
| 1990 | SAMIA enters the Indian Market going into joint venture and establishing ADOR-SAMIA Ltd. SAMIA gives an innovative technology in the field of designing, engineering and fabrication of combustion equipment to this country. | ||
| 1991 | SAMIA starts the "School of Combustion", thematic courses performed by qualified staff to all the Companies interested in SAMIA products. | ||
| 1997 | SAMIA enters the Chinese market with its fully owned branch office:SAMIA Beijing Office (S.B.O.), which promotes the sale and service of SAMIA Combustion Equipment and ancillary units of interest to one of the greatest worlwide market. | ||
| 2000 | SAMIA,
in collaboration with NFK Company, signs an agreement for a new innovative
technology: HRS High Cycle Regenerative Combustion System). HRS is a revolutionary
combustion system in terms of low environmental impact and energy saving
which decreases considerably NOx emissions arriving to save up to 50 % of
fuel, producing a better quality. SAMIA completes at his own Test Facility
in Lesmo (Milan) a demonstration unit of the HRS system.
